This artwork is inspired by grapes, a symbol deeply woven into Italian culture, community, and ritual. From vineyard rows to shared tables, grapes represent expression, connection, and the stories we pass from one generation to the next.
Linked to the Throat Chakra, or Vishuddha, this piece centers on voice, truth, and clear communication. It is about speaking honestly, listening deeply, and allowing what is inside to move outward with ease.
Each piece in my Italian Chakra Series is created slowly by hand using ink, acrylic, and a few drops of Mediterranean seawater. The circular form, mosaic patterns, and stained glass inspired textures reference Italian craftsmanship that is tactile, imperfect, and deeply human.
This artwork is well suited for spaces where conversation, creativity, or reflection happen naturally. Kitchens, studios, dining areas, and workspaces all benefit from its grounding yet expressive energy. It also makes a thoughtful gift for writers, teachers, creatives, or anyone working on finding or reclaiming their voice.
