This artwork comes from my Italian Chakra Series, created to reflect the beauty, energy, and heritage of Italy through its fruits, vegetables, and traditional crafts. Italy is a place where slow cooking, quality ingredients, and handmade techniques have been preserved for generations—values that deeply influenced this series. Lemon Light honors the Solar Plexus Chakra, known in Sanskrit as Manipura, meaning “city of jewels.” This chakra governs confidence, motivation, self-direction, and the inner fire that helps us take meaningful action. The radiant yellow of Sicilian lemons mirrors this fiery, vital energy—bright, cleansing, and full of life.
