Most people start with the root chakra. But there is one that goes even deeper.
The Earth Star Chakra sits just below your feet, in the earth itself. It anchors you to the planet, to ancestral memory, to the deep roots that hold you even when you cannot feel them. It is the chakra that works in the dark, without recognition, doing the most essential work of all.
For this piece I chose truffles. They grow completely hidden underground, in quiet symbiosis with the roots of ancient trees. They can only be found by those who know, or by a dog with a nose trained for exactly this kind of hidden treasure. That felt exactly right for a chakra about trusting what you cannot see.
The background is drawn from ancient Roman mosaic, the intricate geometric patterns that still survive on the floors of basilicas across Rome. The Romans built to last. This piece carries that same intention.
This print makes a meaningful gift for anyone going through a period of transition, rebuilding, or invisible growth. For the person doing the quiet work of rooting.
